Sensors and telemetry
Every farm has moisture sensors, weather stations and flow meters that allow the crop to be monitored in real time.

Sustainable and Efficient System
ISFA, as a company with a strong focus on sustainability and the efficient use of natural resources, farms under the SES planting model (Sustainable and Efficient System). This model, combined with a very high level of mechanisation and precision technology, makes it possible to reduce water and phytosanitary product consumption, showing that it is possible to produce better with a lower environmental impact.
It is the technical standard that defines the way we farm. It began with almonds, but is now the basis of all our crops.
more efficient water use per kilo of almonds produced
reduction in phytosanitary product use
of harvesting and pruning mechanised
Four areas of work where the SES Model makes the difference.

Irrigation optimised through sensors, telemetry, algorithms and weather stations.

Structural improvement, cover crop management, reduced erosion and increased organic matter.

Rational use of inputs and integrated pest management to reduce their application.

Operational efficiency, automation and a smaller carbon footprint.
A competitive edge across every stage of cultivation.

Every farm has moisture sensors, weather stations and flow meters that allow the crop to be monitored in real time.

Our own algorithms that recommend irrigation, fertilisation and agronomic management.

Monitoring of vigour, water stress and crop development.

In-house software that integrates agronomic, operational and financial data.
From data to decision
Soil and climate sensors, flow meters and weather stations on every farm.
Satellite imagery and thermography from drones and aircraft flag water stress and faults.

Our own irrigation algorithms calculate daily water needs and correct them with sensor data.
Automated irrigation and mechanised tasks carry out the decision in the field.
The SES Model delivers a positive carbon balance: up to 3.8 tonnes of CO2 per hectare in measurements taken on the farm.
